Oak Acquisitions was founded in quarter one of 2024 by two qualified engineers who met while on part-time university studies in the North-East of England. Both budding engineers with years in manufacturing who share similar interests in business and enjoy the practical aspects of creativity got the idea for making affordable and original accessories and houseware when searching for products for their own homes.

Both engineers with a keen interest in the outdoors and a care for the future of our planet, saw an opportunity to make bespoke, high end and custom timber products in a truly British and
sustainable way. They have captured this by only using locally sourced dead fall timber, which has been naturally air dried and treated prior to entering the OA workshop.

In conjunction with only using Dead Fall timber for our OA manufactured products, a % of all sales is given to FriendsOfTheEarth & UNICEF Charities. FriendsOfTheEarth is a eco-conscious and driven charity that not only try to ensure a safe and long lasting plant but work relentlessly all over the world to ensure everyone has their own say. The charities motto is ''Think globally, act locally''. UNICEF raises funds for emergency and development work for children, as well as promoting childrens rights internationally. 🍃
